Mafia Island Lodge

The Mafia Island Lodge is set amid tall palm trees on a sandy beach in Chole Bay, in the heart of the marine park near Utende village and on the south coast of Mafia Island.

There are 34 guest rooms available; of which 14 are Superior Rooms, 18 are Standard Rooms and two are Family Rooms. All the rooms have air-conditioning and private verandas overlooking the bay, surrounded by coconut palms.

The main lodge has a relaxing atmosphere with a restaurant, a bar, a gift shop, and a lounge area with board games and a Ping-Pong table. Our beach bar offers light lunches and is complemented by a fully stocked bar. The cuisine is continental with an emphasis on seafood, offering intimate candlelit dinners on request.

The warm and colourful waters of the Indian Ocean surrounding the island provide an ideal location for many sea activities; of which include snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing to name but a few.
