A Thousand Splendid Views by

This was a mostmemorable stay!

Everything, from the breath-taking views to the peaceful surroundings at thelodge work in sync to make the stay that more pleasant.

David, welcomedus at the gate upon our arrival and he was quite warm and friendly.

He was agreat host! He was ready to assist if we required anything. The fire was goingand ready for our braai, the pool was clean and he set up the Jacuzzi as well.

The lodgeitself was not too much of a feature as  we spent majority of our timeoutside enjoying the fresh air. In all honesty, the pictures are a miss andjust give you an idea of the views, but seeing them in person is just a wonder.

But, toocomment on the inside: it's great. The kitchen is fully-equipped and does notneed anything more.

The bedroomswere neat and tidy and the beds very comfortable.

All in allwe had a great time. We will definitely be back to enjoy the good breakaway.

In retrospect we are glad we weredeclined by all other places who told us they are fully booked, else we wouldhave never found this gem.

Great experience! by

We really enjoyed our stay, much more than we expected. Great pool table, ping pong table, darts, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Good service as well, will be back :)

Great getaway by

Peaceful and serene. Loved the view and facilities. Will go back.

Good value for money by

Everything was wonderful, except the Jacuzzi jets that did not work.

RAIN RAIN RAIN by

We were lucky in that when we arrived it was still quite clear and the view was spectacular. However that evening it started to rain for two days solid. This is nothing to complain about as we reminded ourselves of the drought in the Western Cape! We had two children with us and they entertained themselves with the gaming facilities available at the lodge - snooker, darts, table tennis and even archery on the last day which was nice and sunny. Improvements could be the kitchen cupboard doors and some drawers which are wonky. Also, it would be perfect if there was a braai facility under roof as we could not braai under the ample thatched deck for obvious reasons and because of the rain. The jacuzzi was most enjoyable. The caretaker, David and the cleaning lady Beauty were helpful. All in all a most enjoyable stay and especially as I was able to take my Yorkie, Fergie, along with me!
