A delicious breakfast can be served in the privacy of your room or on the outside patio while appreciating the beautiful garden and mountain views. Dinner can also be arranged on request. Guests can take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or relax by having a braai.

Kokstad is known for its many dams and rivers, which are perfect for trout fishing and water sports. Mount Currie Nature Reserve is just a short distance away and guests can take advantage of the many hiking trails and bird-viewing opportunities.

Fantastic by

I had a very nice stay, everyone was welcoming from children to grandparents.. even though you are miles away from home, you still feel at home, the rooms have everything you need.

Clean, cosy and perfect for an overnight stay. Catherine was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely recommend.



Superbly clean. Very, very friendly host. We got lost, they came and meets us and  we followed to the to house.
Unfortunately for the lodge  it is not in the best part of Kokstad but we felt absolutely safe and reassured by our host.
 Really a thumbs up !!  


Mediocre by

Lovely, well equipped room. B and B in a rather grim area of town. Issues with wifi. Pity no breakfast was included as there is not much in town and nothing in walking distance. In light of this, I thought it was a bit over priced. Pool was not sparkling as it was in the picture!
