Overlooking the magnificent and ancient Makgabeng Plateau, you'll find Makgabeng Farm Lodge - a tranquil and lovely place to stay and explore this beautiful area of the Limpopo savannah bushveld.
The lodge comprises about 10 chalets, each fully furnished for a comfortable stay. The chalets comprise either double or twin beds, each fitted with crisp linen and en-suite bath or shower bathrooms. Amenities include tea and coffee-making facilities and TVs with limited DStv access. An outdoor swimming pool and braai facilities are provided for guest's use.
With a variety of traditional cuisine, the on-site restaurant will ensure guests enjoy a unique and unforgettable African dining experience. The lodge offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, which can be enjoyed inside the restaurant or on the outside patio.
Positioned near the borders of Mapungubwe National Park, a World Heritage Site, and South Africa's newest Biosphere Reserve, Vhembe, guests won't be short on nearby attractions. Other activities include visiting the Makgabeng rock art site, the Wonderkop Nature Reserve and game drives.
