Our House sleeps a minimum of two persons per night.Come and stay in our beautiful self-contained thatched home in the lovely foothills of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Surrounded by open countryside and mountains with the unspoilt Mooi River running at the bottom of our sloping view site, a genuine warm friendly welcome awaits you where nothing is too much trouble.Please note: Manwood Lodge sleeps a minimum of two persons per night.

Fabulous Manwood Lodge by

I have stayed in lots of self-catering places over the years and Manmood Lodge has to be one of the best equipped and maintained. The owners are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It is perfectly situated in the heart of the Midlands allowing easy access to the surrounding areas. Superb views. Cannot recommend it enough.

Great escape from the city by

Manwood was exactly what we needed for our family of five. It was convenient in terms of area and position, not too close to the chaos of Nottingham Road but close enough to pop in and out when we wanted to. Alan and Christine are fantastic hosts, making the cottage a real home away from home, from the sherry on the table when we arrived to the bubble bath they put in the bathroom for the kids. We were warm and cosy inside and out in this lovely cottage!

Wonderful stay! by

We enjoyed our two-night stay. The house is attached to the main house but absolutely private. It is conveniently located and we didn't have to travel for miles to explore the area despite terrible weather... The house is comfortable and has all the necessary for self-catering purposes. A nice touch is the bubble bath, shower gel and sherry being provided. The electric blankets were also very welcome as it was that cold! The only disappointment was the view as there is ony a small lounge window and two small windows upstairs in the main bedroom. To see the view in the pictures you have to be outside, eventhough we wouldn't have been able to sit outside anyway!
