Mara Simba Lodge

The Masi Mara experience has remained a lifelong dream of many safari lovers, and the Mara Simba Lodge offers guests just this as she stretches along the bank of the Talek River.

The lodge was created with an emphasis on exclusivity and comfort. It was designed to complement its surroundings and is decorated in a traditional Maasai style.

The public areas, overlook the Talek River, have floors of cedar wood elevated on timber posts, and are shaded by soaring thatch roofs. This includes the dining area, where a delicious variety of succulent meat and vegetarian dishes are served.

A well-stocked shop sells personal, photographic and souvenir items. Our naturalist, who presents talks on the wildlife and ecology of the Maasai Mara, also conducts walking safaris, slide shows and Maasai cultural lectures.

After game drives, our sparkling swimming pool invites you to cool down. Night time floodlit viewing, from the comfort of chairs set on the wide open veranda, may reveal an elusive leopard drink from the Talek's silvery waters.
