Melkbosch Guesthouse is situated in the village of Melkbosstrand on the West Coast of the beautiful Cape Peninsula. We are approximately 20 minutes from the city centre, 35 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and within sight and sound of the ocean.
The guesthouse is for those who like to get out of the city but not too far from their business. Most of our upstairs rooms are sunny and north-facing, with en-suite bathrooms. Available in each room is a fully stocked bar fridge, coffee and tea-making facilities, remote controlled TV with DSTV, and a writing bureau. All the rooms also feature a private entrance and most lead onto the balcony by means of a sliding door overlooking the enclosed garden and barbecue area.
Our self-catering units are all located downstairs and also have en-suite bathrooms. Available in each unit is a fully stocked bar fridge, kitchenette, remote controlled TV with DSTV, and a writing bureau. These units have separate entrances leading into the enclosed tropical garden and barbecue area.
If you like adventure, try sky diving, kite surfing, 4x4 and quad bike riding - all minutes away from Melkbosch Guest House. The Cape is also the wine-making capital of South Africa which is why day trip wine tours are also a favourite pastime amongst our regular visitors. From finding your way around Cape Town to navigating your way to almost the most Southern part of Africa at Cape Point, the Western Cape has everything you'd like to experience. In addition, Melkbosstrand is the entry point to the scenic West Coast which is world-famous for the wild flowers in spring.
