Memory Ranch offers a spacious Thatched roof unit A and we also have 3 smaller units for selfcatering, very private, for family's to share that is non-thatched roof. All Units is equipt with linnen, towels and a complimentary cereal breakfast and coffee trays. Come and enjoy our country hospitality, braai facility for all units available and only a fireplace in Thatsched roof only for wintertime. No firewood, charcoal or firelighters supplied, please bring along if you would like to make use of the facilities. Take a walk along the stream that cross the farm or feel free to just explore your surroundings, pool table and trampoline available on own risk. A little oasis in the Free State, visit us for a memorable stay.Sleep over in our spacious unit with 3 single beds and 1 double bed on top wooden deck of the unit, with living area, bar corner, TV corner and fireplace on the floor level. Ideal for a family traveling on their holiday trip halfway between north and south. Braai facility available for a enjoyable evening while just relaxing under our starlet nights and nature surroundings.We believe tranquility feeds your soul! A little oasis on your long drive to your destination.Please note that the per person sharing rate is for two people, any additional guest will be charged at R120 per person. We have 4 seperate neat selfcatering units available. No smoking in units, smoking area's available. Safe parking near units available.

What a great stay! by

Memory Ranch is the perfect stop over between PE and Johannesburg. We had a wonderful evening and took full advantage of all of the amenities that the chalet provided. Between the pool table, the bar and the gorgeous little braai area we were fully entertained. Sannie and Pieter were incredibly hospitable and I have already recommended their gorgeous accommodation to plenty of people. We will definitely be back!

Little oasis by

Had a lovely stay at Memory Ranch. It is truly like staying at an oasis in the middle of the desert. Everything is cool and green and cool, just what you need after a long hot day in the car. Thanks so much.

Break from the main road by

This was a short one night stop over on our way back to JHB. Really nice to be off the main road. Bring meat and enjoy the braai outside in the country. well situated and very convenient. Dry weather has spoilt the true beauty of the farm.

The Rain! by

We arrived at Memory Ranch during a thunder storm, what a pleasure for us coming from Cape Town with no water! Pieter and Sannie were there to welcome us - great people who made our stay so memorable, thanks guys! The complex that we stayed in was well equipped, clean and neat. Our breakfast, served in our room, was outstanding! It's off the beaten track (only 6 kms) but so enjoyable.

Stay over en-route home from Hartenbos by

What a surprise. Nicely situated about 6km's from the N1 outside of Trompsburg. Sannie was there to welcome us, and you immediately felt welcome. She even called before our expected arrival to ensure we know where to find the farm. Typical farmer friendliness from her and her husband. We had juice, yogurt, rusks, cookies awaiting us on arrival over and above the normal coffee and tea. Wood and charcoal was available for use.I was surprised when I wanted to unpack and Adam, one of the farm workers, was busy washing my vehicle, totally unexpected. If you like a real farm style stay-over, I would really recommend Memory Ranch. The hot breakfast was on the house, and was served in the lapa we stayed over in. I could even get a 40km ride in with the MTB on the local farm roads. Memory Ranch is real value for money. I will easily use them again.

What a lovely stopover on our long road. Sannie and Pieter are wonderful people that goes the extra mile and makes you want to stay longer. The thatched roof exceeded our expectations and really are value for money. Will highly recommend and visit again.
