Meteor Travel Inn offers budget accommodation situated in the quiet town of Grootfontein, located in the North East of Namibia in a lush-green environment.

There are 15 affordable rooms set around the courtyard at the back of the property. We also have a fully licensed bar and restaurant with homely meals; and on Fridays we specialise in pizzas made in brick ovens. There is safe parking available on site and a 24-hour reception service. Guests can make use of the free Wi-Fi and DStv facilities.

Grootfontein is turned into a lush paradise of purple, blue, red and green hues in summer as the Jacaranda and Flamboyant trees bloom. The district is abundantly endowed with wildlife and game, while it is well known for its cattle and crop farming.

Ja dankie, onse het ons verblyf geniet.

Plek kort baie aandag. Ontbyt was baie lekker en maak op vir swak kamers.

Tannie was baie vriendelik.

The place is in a very bad shape and need a lot of upgrade (paint chipping of the walls, etc). There was no coffee station in the rooms. The whole place was stuffy and stank from cigarette smoke. There is no lights in the corridors. Charlotte and the other kitchen staff were very friendly. The breakfast is a must.
