MONGOOS BUSH HOUSE REVIEWS (60%)
Good clean accommodation by

Good clean accommodation. A toaster would come in handy! Be aware that there isn't an actual lounge and there's no TV, not that this bothered us. Pool also needed filling. Good quality linen and towels. Lovely boma. Beautiful bush setting.

The surrounding nature by

Our biggest concern is with the owner of the establishment who has a tendency to have a lack of communication with his guests and with the institution that is responsible to oversee the daily running of the house. We tried to contact him beforehand to make enquiries such as how to obtain the key and an account number to settle the balance but he ignored it. bluntly The result was that on arrival we found a house that was not serviced at all, as a matter of fact it looked as if it was not serviced for more than a week. The beds were not made the floors not swept, the bath was dirty, dishes half washed in the basin and cockroaches running around. The gas geyser was not working and the braai area reflect that quite a few fires were made in it according to the amount of old ashes piled in it. Overall an appalling site to say the least. The establishment is well situated within the park and if it is look after well it can be an asset.
