Mongoose Campsite

The Mongoose Campsite, ideal for nature lovers is very private. Nestled in the Karoo close to the historic town of Montagu is this breathtaking 600 Hectare Tibani nature reserve which is home to various wildlife species which
include black and brown springbuck, blesbuck , kudus and many more. Explore the reserve on foot , mountain bike or follow the 4X4 route to the top of the mountain with its magnificent views .

Our ablution facilities consist of a fully tiled shower , wash basin and flush toilet. Outside the ablution is wash up facilities with a sink. Hot water is provided via a gas geyser and lighting via solar lights. There is also a potable water point provided at the camp site.

The camp site also provides free unlimited Wi-Fi so you can come camp in nature while working from home.
There is no electrical points as the reserve is totally off the grid.

For those warm Karoo summer days there is a large farm dam to cool off in and during the chilly nights sit around the fire pit provided at your private campsite.

The campsite is accessible to any normal vehicle and can accommodate one off-road caravan or two off-road trailers. Tents and motorhomes can also be accommodated. Maximum will be two vehicles and 6 persons.
