This beautifully appointed guest house offers unparalleled access to the Wilderness lagoon's ever-changing moods and varied birdlife.

Choose from seven en-suite cottages each with their own entrance and views of the luxuriant gardens and wilderness lagoon. We regret no children under 8-years-old, without prior arrangement. Moon tide is one minute from the beach, 5 minutes from Wilderness restaurants, Kingfisher trails and the famous Outeniqua steam train.

Wonderful relaxing setting by

A great place to visit - wonderul restaurants within walking distance and a scenic, relaxing stay. Wonderful hosts too.

Excellent accommodation, beautiful setting, extremely helful manager

Perfect! by

Wonderful Guest House overlooking the lagoon of Wilderness. Perhaps our best accommodation in South Africa. The cottage was luxurious, furnished in style and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast served in the beautiful garden. Very kind and friendly the manager.



Rather disappointed with the quality of our room. Did not compare with 4 star standard of rooms which we have stayed in previous  3 nights.

On the website the rooms look lovely, but Milkwood is below par. A little tired! 

Breakfast was very good, and so was our welcome.
