We loved our stay; the design, the décor, the staff, the breakfast and the the room with its little treats are original and fresh. Heated bathroom floor was a gift! Good value for the price.

Great stay at Motel Mi Pi Chi! Very comfortable and homely, beautifully decorated, warm and friendly staff. Thank you, Motel Mi Pi Chi for an awesome stay in Melville! The only downside was that Safarinow did not send my payment confirmation to the establishment, fortunately I had the confirmation email!

With everything you need for an easy and conveniently located Joburg stay for overseas visitors, solo travelers, or just for business. Modern and fuckydesign, good shower, decent breakfast, great wifi and walking distance to lots of great restaurants, if you dont want to go eatout, plenty of takeout delivery services are available. And oh great comfy bed, I sleep like a baby. Host and staff are super friendly and makes my stay comfortable and undisturbed.

Booking just changed by

It is with quite mixed feelings that I write this. While the staff was very friendly, there was quite a mix-up with our booking. We booked a family self catering unit and paid in full. When we made the booking we could only choose adults. We had two kids travelling with us yet the booking only asked for adults. We had not realised that it was a payment per person, thinking we'd pay per unit. On arrival we were told that our payment could not be found and also we were put in a studio apartment. Thus the apartment booked and paid for was given to other people. When we showed them what we had booked and paid for, we were then told that we paid after the quote expired (which is not possible on Safarinow). It was really a bit dissapointing to find out what you booked you could not get. While we would not have cared to pay extra for the kids, the unit was just given to someone else. What if we were business partners who could not share a bed. I really found this very unprofessional from the owner/manager.
