Whether you are on business or on holiday, Myrtle's Lodge is the ideal accommodation as it is close to amenities and the CBD of Pinetown, a small city inland from Durban in KwaZulu Natal. Pinetown is named after a governor of Natal, Sir Benjamin Pine and the British built a concentration camp in Pinetown during the Second Boer War to house Boer women and children. Pinetown is known as a 'motor town' because of the many motor dealerships found along Old Main Road. Just a 25-minute drive from Durban, the location is quiet and upmarket with safe parking inside the yard of the lodge. The rooms are exceptionally clean and offer DStv and tea and coffee-making facilities. Meals can be arranged and a laundry service is provided, both at a marginal cost. Please note that the check-out time is strictly 10:00, and guests staying over the time will pay an additional charge.
