Camphor Tree Cottage, a renovated old farm house. This self-catering cottage sleeping 4 - 5 people, with exquisite views of the Outeniqua mountains. It is 5 kms to the ocean and a haven for cyclists, trail runners, golfers, horse-riders and fisherman alike. The cottage is situated close enough to George for business travellers who like fresh air once away from the office environment. The cottage is equipped with full DSTV package, flat screen TV and free WIFI, a washing machine and dish washer. This self-catering cottage is serviced daily during the week only. The stone cottage is totally private with its own built in braai/barbecue. On winter nights, a slow combustion fire place is available, and the beds are equipped with electric blankets. All linen, towelling and toiletries are inclusive.

What an awesome place. Clean, quiet, peaceful and has everything you need. I will definitely be back.

There are not many establishments that go above and beyond to make you feel as welcome as Deirdre and her friendly staff do. I thoroughly enjoyed yet another stay at 9 Fern Rest and I will highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for that ultimate break away. Professionally run, clean and with its own unique flavour added ensures that your stay will be a memorable one. If you are into birding, the night sounds are fantastic, with the owls and Nightjars adding to the peaceful ambiance. Thank you Deirdre and co, you'll definitely see me again and again. Glen

I wished I could stay longer. The room was beautifully decorated and I loved the bathroom. The self catering facilities are great and everything that you might need is available in your room. I also had great customer service from Deidre who helped me on short notice.
