We have an excellent selection of local wines form the Robertson Valley vineyards. You may prefer to sit in our garden, listening to the Koornlands River bubbling by and the many species of birds.We are within walking distance of the museum, restaurants, art galleries and shops and we can provide you with all the information about actives in and around Swellendam.Swellendam is situated on the Garden Route, half way between Cape Town and George. It is thirty minutes' drive to the well known Route 62 &roughly an hour's drive to Cape Agulhas, the most Southern tip of Africa. The De Hoop Nature Reserve is about an hour and a half's drive & a wonderful place for a day trip and the Robertson Wine Route is only half an hour away via Bonnievale.

Magnificent stay in Aan de Oever. Very nice people and high class rooms.

Our time at Aan de Oever by

A beautifully appointed venue and Riaan and Julie were most welcoming and accomodating hosts. Don't like the fact that there is no door to close off the bathroom/toilet area - a bit too open for us!!

Beautiful place in a lovely setting, with delightful and most helpful staff.

We can definitely recommend Aan de Oever Guesthouse. It is a lovely guesthouse with very spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast situated on a beautiful plot in a very special town.

We travelled with our toddler and found everyone to be very welcoming and accommodating in that regards as well.

We will definitely stay there again and recommend to all.
