Abalone Guest House is nestled in the hidden gem that is Jacobsbaai. The guest house offers rooms on a bed and breakfast basis as well as self-catering units which are ideal for families or couples looking for a bit more privacy. Meals can be arranged for those staying in the self-catering units. All of the rooms have wonderful views of the ocean.

All guests have access to a cosy lounge centered around a roaring fireplace, which is so welcoming during the winter months. The lounge has Wi-Fi for those wanting to keep up to date on emails. There is also an outdoor built-in braai with firewood.

Jacobsbaai is a fisherman's paradise with the Atlantic Ocean providing an abundance of seafood. The beach is ideal for a stroll, a swim or just to sit and enjoy the view. Those looking for more active adventures can partake in hiking, kitesurfing, mountain biking or surfing.

Abalone - our first choice by

This is the fourth time that we stayed in the Abalone Guest House. Although the ownership changed during this period, the Abalone is still our first choice when visiting this magic place.
