Located in Moshi, near Mount Kilimanjaro, Afrishare Volunteer Home Base now offers accommodation to the general public, where in the past the house was used mainly for volunteers.

The accommodation is backpacker-style, and comprises three bedrooms and four shared bathrooms. It includes beds, linen, housekeeping, laundry facilities, security, three meals a day and snacks. Meals will include international and local cuisine.

The host, Ibrahim, organises safaris and treks for guests if need be, and also offers transport to various facilities and attractions.

The home base applies a strict code of conduct for various reasons, and this includes the fact that guests need to be legally married in order to share a room. No alcohol is allowed on the premises.
