Alipad Self Catering units is a multi-award winning accommodation establishment.

We have a strict no noise policy after 23:00 and guests need to be aware of that before booking.

Alipad Self-catering Units is located in the picturesque seaside village of Lamberts Bay, on the West Coast. It is not far from Clanwilliam and only two and a half hours' drive from Cape Town.

Guests have a choice of staying in one of four units comprising two Luxury Units, a Two-bedroom Unit and a Bachelor Unit. The Luxury Units and the Two-bedroom Unit offer comfortable double and single beds as well as sleeper couches, while the Bachelor Unit has a double bed only. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, as well as a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. All the units have TVs, while the Luxury Units have full DStv premium. Each unit also has a braai area and a laundry facility is available on the premises.

We have an on-site generator so that there is power during times of load shedding to all rooms.

Lamberts Bay offers a variety of attractions from sandboarding on the dunes, guided quad bike trips, microlight flights over the bay and various water sports such as swimming, surfing and sunbathing. Bird Island offers up close and personal experiences with Cape gannets, cormorants and African penguins. The Heaviside's dolphin is endemic to this part of the coast and dusky dolphins, southern right whales and humpback whales visit the area.

The accommodation by

The accommodation is what anyone would wish for. Everything needed was catered for and spacious. The views is absolutely spectacular. The huge balcony was my favourite place to sit and take in nature at its best. We were welcomed by the owner and made us feel welcome immediately. We had our privacy and a fantastic restful stay.
