A warm welcome and friendly service from Dave, Lorna and Monica, comfortable and clean accommodation and good food make the Aloes a great value for money stopover on your way to the Lowveld.



Very neat, clean and comfortable. One night too short to appreciate the surroundings including the outdoor braai alongside the Elands River. Next time will definitely be longer.

As always, Aloes was superb in every way. The welcome from Lorna and Dave really makes you feel at home. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and the setting is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Aloes Country Inn to anyone visiting the area.

Next to the river by

We we were welcomed by Dave, the host, as we got out of our car. Straight away we felt welcolm. Facilities were all that was needed for a comfortable stay whilst traveling around the area. Sitting next to the river whilst having our sundowners, ended the day's activities perfectly. We would go there again.
