High on a hilltop in Honingklip, amidst the peach and rose farms, with a superb view of the rolling foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountains, the Witwatersrand and brooding Swartkop, lies Apricot Hill Farm.

Formerly an upmarket health hydro, Apricot Hill is now a private country farm house offering self-catering cottages and tranquil farm house rooms.

Apricot Hill is ideal for weekend getaways for those who need to visit the Rand but don't want to be right in the big city or for wedding and conference guests attending one of the myriad of excellent venues close by.

The farm is just 40 minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria, 15 minutes from Roodepoort and Krugersdorp, and has easy access to the highways, airports, Randburg and Sandton. Apricot Hill is ideal for travelling delegates, wedding guests or those with business to do on the Reef.

A great B&B to overnight by

We stayed over at Apricot Hill Farm in the Fern Croft room. I enjoyed the privacy and all the convenient extras that made our stay extra ordinary. I recommend this amazing B&B to anyone that needs a place to overnight at an affordable price. Well worth it.



The surroundings are peaceful, but the cottage needs some attention.  The small two plate stove kept on switching off.  There were no coffee provided, only 2 tea bags and we were 3 adults.  The lamp on one side of the double bed was nearly falling off the wall. The double bed was made up of two single/three quarter beds. The bed on the left side needs replacing.

Excellent stay by

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Wendy gave us privacy and gave us a warm welcome.



Short break by

I appreciated the location and silence, except for Sunday morning when the dogs started barking. The fridge has only one setting: freezing as well as the stove: burning hot.
