Arum Place

Arum Place is situated in a tranquil Cul-De-Sac less than 30 m from the beach in Kommetjie with sea and mountain views from all rooms and views of Hout Bay and Table Mountain on a clear day.The house has both an upstairs and downstairs apartment. The luxurious upstairs apartment consists of 2 bedrooms,bathroom with shower and bath and the lounge, dining room and kitchen are open plan. The main bedroom has its own tv ,double bed and both bedrooms have sliding doors leading out to a large covered patio around the apartment. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. Outdoor braai facilities are available. An additional single foldout bed is available. All bedding and towels are provided (EXCLUDING swimming towels) for short term lets. Please NOTE that over December peak season the upper and lower units need to be reserved together as we cater for bigger groups that time.this is from about 20th dec to 3 rd january.The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils and appliances such as washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and microwave oven. The lounge has a TV, music centre and dvd and dstv is enabled with 1,2,3, Etv and the downstairs apartment has similar features to upstairs, excluding the sea views. Both upstairs and downstairs, together, can be used to accommodate groups of up to 10 people comfortably.Kommetjie has stunning sunsets and it offers close walking distance (5min) to the main swimming beach, local shops in the village and the slipway. Kommetjie's beaches offer excellent swimming, surfing, wind-surfing, walks and relaxation. There are many hiking trails within close proximity to Kommetjie, on the Mountains behind or in the Silvermine Nature Reserve a short distance away.Silvermine has one of the most spectacular hikes that will take you to the top of Silvermine and let you look down into the Republic of Hout Bay and over one of the worlds famous scenic drives Chapman's Peak drive. Sun valley is 8km from Kommetjie and has a brand new shopping mall containing major retail stores, a large Pick ?n Pay supermarket, restaurants and cinemas.The famous and spectacular Chapmans Peak is only 15 minutes away. The coastal towns of Simon's Town, Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay are 10-15km away and offer many seafood restaurants, coffee houses and curio shops. Airport transfers and car hire gladly arranged on request. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Cape. The apartment is serviced weekly for short term lets and monthly for the longer lets. Lock up garage and off road parking for boats and trailers. No smoking is allowed in the house but there is a garden. Excellent monthly rates are also available upon inquiry however a Minimum stay of 2 days is applicable.
