Avion Lodge is situated in Kempton Park in Johannesburg. It is less than four kilometres from O.R. Tambo International Airport. This makes it the ideal accommodation option for business men or for travellers who are simply stopping over in Johannesburg.

There are three room categories in this lodge, single rooms, double rooms and a continental suite. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and include televisions with DStv connections as well as Wi-Fi Internet access. Guests also have access to braai facilities. Parking is available on the premises.

The lodge is close to a municipal swimming pool, a private gymnasium and tennis courts.

The place was clean, simple and provided a good one night stay. In terms of comfort it might need a little work. The host was amazingly friendly and always helpful. All in all the experience was ok.

VERY DISAPPOINTING "LODGE" by

First of all the receptionist was very unprofessional. We have already paid R200-00 deposit and was left with an outstanding amount of R200-00. We were taken to a room and was told that the price is R550-00, we told him we already booked our room, but it seemed as if he did not know anything about this and wanted to call the manager, a Mr Michael. We cancelled our stay at Avion as the smell inside the corridor was very bad, like a wet damped smell. The shower in the room that was shown to us was ridiculously small. We are not satisfied with Avion Lodge at all and will not recommend it to anyone.

Late confirmation of payment through Safari by

I booked for the 13th of may and my confirmation was done only in 14th of may at 12:30. This then was useless because I did not need the place anymore. I would appreciate a refund as I did not use your service. And I strongly believe this is poor service. I took more than 5 hours to confirm a booking.
