Barrington 69 is a lovely three-bedroom self-catering apartment ideally situated in a secure complex off Ocean Drive in Ballito.The apartment comprises three bedrooms, an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size, and the second and third bedrooms each contain twin single beds. Linen is provided.The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer, a microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery. The living area boasts ceiling fans and a TV with DSTV capability, should you wish to bring your own decoder with accessories and smart card. The complex has two swimming pools. One lock-up garage and one open-parking space is provided for guests. There is also limited guest parking in the complex.We do not do bookings for unaccompanied under 25's

Great place, neat and easy access

We stayed for 9 nights in Barrington, the complex is neat and quiet and the pool is great, however the unit was short on a few items like crockery and connections for the DSTV decoder (kindly and promptly sorted out by the booking agent).

The fact that the unit does not have an air-conditioner was a problem as the temperature reached 36 degrees Celcius with 100% humidity. Under these conditions the fans don't help much.

The unit needs maintenance with some cupboard doors in the kitchen broken.  The front door lock is also badly rusted.   A gas braai would also be more appropriate as a charcoal braai on the small balcony does not work.

Would we stay here again, definitely yes.
