Bay Sun Lodge offers upmarket, comfortable and affordable accommodation in the CBD of Richards Bay that is ideal for the corporate or the leisure guest. The lodge is ideally located in the CBD close to all amenities, and just a 10 minute drive from the beach.

Accommodation is offered in one- or two-bedroom self-catering apartments. All apartments feature a fully fitted open-plan granite top kitchen, a spacious lounge and a bathroom. Each apartment is equipped with a TV with hotel package DStv, and air-conditioning.

24-hour security ensures your peace of mind. Free, secure parking is available. A guest laundry service is available on request. Although the accommodation is self-catering Bay Sun Lodge is able to offer breakfast, lunch packs, and dinner on request.

I received a warm welcome and everything was ready and waiting. The flat was clean and tidy and we were very comfortable.  There was secure undercover parking for our vehicle close to our door. Flat was air-conditioned and everything worked as promised. Our stay was short, one night only, but Bay Sun Lodge will be my first choice when looking in Richards Bay for somewhere to stay in future.



Warm welcome and a comfortable and spacious unit. Very clean and neat. Could benefit from a small welcome pack with coffee, tea and sugar plus some dishwashing soap and a dish towel. A pleasant stay.
