Lovely Stay by

We only stayed one night at BelAir Guest House but can thoroughly recommend it.  The rooms are large and have everything necessary for a good night's sleep.  The only problem was the lack of water which cannot be blamed on the Guest House.  Let's hope it rains in the right areas very soon.

Brilliant and comfortable by

We were traveling back from Swaziland and found this little gem in Piet Retief. What a wonderful, comfortable, clean and neat guest house. The service was brilliant as well as our breakfast. We also got to witness them preparing for an interview with KykNet. Well done and thank you. It was amazing.

Reception excellent on arrival - room clean and spacious - bathroom well fitted out - so far so good - 1st impressions 4 star..

Then sleep time - continuously woken by water pressure pump every time a guest opens a tap.

So little sleep.

In the morning mentioned issue to management - she denied that they had ever had a complaint yet we had heard another guest telling her about the problem not 15 min earlier. She then admitted that the owner was considering a solution. 

Then breakfast - not asked what we would like - a large plate with an omelet filled with mince meat together with a hot dog sausage was served. Great if you are a young hungry growing man but not the type of breakfast for the elderly.

So as we are reasonably light sleepers, healthy eaters and like management to be concerned about their guests it was not the place for us.





We were greeted nicely and enjoyed our stay.
