Beloftebos Cottages

Beloftebos offers self-catering accommodation in three fully equipped cottages and one farmhouse, 14km from the popular tourist destination of Stanford. Enjoy walking amongst the age old oak trees, cycle along our beautiful paths or just relax on a proper working farm. The cottages are located 1 km from Beloftebos wedding venue.

Groenvy farmhouse can comfortably accommodate 8-10 guests in four bedrooms, with two more guests in the living area on request. The main bedroom contains of a queen-size bed, a walk-in dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third and fourth bedrooms each contain twin single beds. These three rooms share a second bathroom with a shower and a bath. Enjoy a braai on the verandah as you relax and take in the country air.

Melk en Heuning cottage, situated amongst the oaks and other various fruit trees is a birder's delight and accommodates 6-8 guests in two bedrooms and a loft. There is a cosy lounge with a fireplace - a perfect place to curl up and enjoy one of our selection of good books, a kitchen and a spacious under cover patio area. The first bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom contains twin single beds and the loft also twin single beds. There is a sleeper couch in the living area. There is also an outside "loo with a view" and an outside shower.

Granaat Cottage, perched on a hill, close to a dam, and so named because of the proximity of an old orchard of pomegranate trees, comfortably accommodates 8-10 guests and comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area, kitchen, and a patio. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, and the second bedroom contains a double bed and opens out onto the patio. The loft has four single beds. The second and third bedrooms share a second bathroom with a shower and bath, and there is also an outside shower with hot water.

Light Cottage, a great favourite with the groom and his friends, the night before the wedding, can accommodate 11 guests and comprises two bedrooms and a loft, one bathroom, an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area, and a patio area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a single bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the loft, a delight for children, teenagers and the more agile adults, accommodates 5 guests in 5 single beds. All rooms share a bathroom with a shower and bath, however there is also an outside shower with hot water and a toilet.

We provide crisp cotton percale linen and towels in all our cottages......we just recommend that guests bring their own swimming towels. We also supply coffee, tea, sugar, milk and a loaf of fresh bread. Wood is available on request for a small fee. Unfortunately as we are a working farm, we do not allow pets, but there are wonderful kennels in Stanford.
