Berg Residence Zelf-Zichricht

Berg Residence is situated on the mountainside of the coastal town, Fish Hoek with views of the valley, and surrounding mountains and the ocean in the distance. The house consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining area and a lounge.The dining area leads onto a covered deck where you can enjoy early morning breakfasts or late afternoon cocktails while watching the sun set.

The entertainment and braai areas are on the lower deck. Here you can relax in front of a fire, enjoy a braai, laze in the sunshine or simply watch your children play on the swing in the garden, or shoot some basketball. The bright and airy lounge is an ideal spot in which to unwind with the option of either watching TV or stepping out onto the balcony to enjoy the views. The main bedroom contains a double bed, fitted with quality linen and furnished with robes, pedestals, a television and mirrors. The room features double doors leading onto the balcony with views of the mountain and surrounding area. The second bedroom is situated downstairs and has two single beds. The room is quiet and private and is equipped with robes and has access to an adjoining bathroom.

The picturesque town of Fish Hoek has a lovely swimming beach which is popular on sunny days. There is a suburban railway link between Cape Town to the north and Simon's Town to the south. This coastal suburb is a popular residence for commuters and holidaymakers alike. The traditional industries of trek fishing and angling co-exist with the leisure activities of surfing, kayaking, sailing and sunbathing. Fish Hoek is just a 20 minute drive from a colony of penguins at Boulders Beach, and from Simon,s Town which is approximately twelve minutes away. There are boat trips to the seals and Shark-Cage Diving. A variety of restaurants can be found in Fish Hoek and the surrounding areas of Kalk Bay, Muizenberg, Simons Town and Noordhoek.
