Home away from home. Birdsview Guest House is conveniently accessible from the main road N12 of Potchefstroom, offering a relaxing, clean, tranquil and peaceful self-catering destination. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available on request and payable directly to the guest house. We are in close proximity to shopping centres, restaurants and the CBD of Potchefstroom.

The accommodation is ideal for short term stays like wedding groups or long term staying especially for professionals, students from school or university.We have 13 individual rooms with en-suite bathrooms which cater for different needs with queen, double or twin bed rooms, private entrances, 32 inch TVs with DStv, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, a small kitchenettes with a two plate stoves (on request), electric frying pan (on request), fridges and microwaves, with a showers.

Two rooms has a bath and shower. Each room has linen, towel, tea and coffee-making facilities, cutlery and crockery.There is ample secure covered parking, space for long walks offering a wide variety of bird life, a large tranquil garden with braai facilities and a swimming pool. On the one side we have grassland that can be viewed from the first floor rooms and on another side the school sport fields with access that can accommodate some exercise needs.Come and enjoy a relaxing peaceful stay at Birdsview Guest House.

Excellent by

Everything was perfect, from the room to the gardens as well as the hosts. The room was spacious and had all the little touches that made it special. Beautiful garden with seating spaces to relax and take in the tranquil environment. The Venter's were welcoming and made themselves available to cater to our requirements. My family and i thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to all.

Excellent service. Brenda was so helpful, from calling us when we were getting lost to waiting at the gate for our arrival. The place was spotless! It was indeed a home away from home. We will definitely visit should we be in Potch again. Thank you Brenda

Fun at the pool and late party by

The rooms were neat and clean and the staff was very friendly even the owners son Dominique , he made sure that what ever we need was at our disposal its very quiet and its safe,i will definately come back here and would recommend it to every one , such a beautiful place The only thing they forget to mention on the site is the usage of the kitchen bt Dominique sort it out quickly.

Lovely swimmingpool and tranquil surroundings by

The rooms were clean and comfortable but very tiny and cramped. We travelled with a lot of luggage as Potchefstroom was our last stop after a long holiday.

The room was small but exactly what I expected. It was always just a bed for the night. It was clean and comfortable. Brenda was friendly. Would stay there again. My only gripe was that it was for three of us and there were only two cups for coffee in the morning.

I was pleasantly surprised with this accommodation. It is clear that the hosts have their guests' utmost comfort at heart - sparing no attention to detail and making sure guests have everything they could possibly want. A perfect and safe overnight stay within easy reach of the highway as well as town centre.
