We have been up and running for 21 years and we are a typical beach cottage. Our bathrooms and kitchens are a bit outdated but they are working and fully functional.
Black Rock Beach Cottage is situated in a lovely big tropical garden just a stone's throw away from the sand and the sea in Zinkwazi Beach. Black Rock is situated right on the beachfront, where dolphins and sometimes whales are to be seen, and the shoreline encompasses a beautiful lagoon where one can fish or go boating.
The property consists of a 10-sleeper, a 6-sleeper and a 4-sleeper that can be rented out separately or together as one unit. The property is fenced with an alarm system connected to armed response, burglar bars on all windows and security gates on all doors, and there is a laundry on the premises and ample secure parking.
Zinkwazi Beach lies on the subtropical coast just 80 km north of Durban. It is a rare unspoiled holiday destination and home to a nature conservancy with an indigenous forest teaming with bird life and undulating golden beaches.
