Fully furnished self-catering bachelor's flat, equipped to sleep three people. Includes all kitchen amenities, TV with full DSTV premium package, as well as SABC 1, 2, 3 and e-TV. Shower-only bathroom. Ample closet space and extra bedding available for both the double and single bed provided. There is shade port parking available behind safety fence, as well as undercover parking behind a remote garage door. The Flat has safety doors on all exits. Flat is fitted with Prepaid Electricity. Cupboards stocked with coffee, tea, milk and sugar for the exhausted traveller. Please note that we do not have any amenities for babies, so you will have to supply your own, if needed. Please note we do not offer pick-up/shuttle services. You have to organise your own transport.

My husband and I were very impressed with the accommodation. It was super clean and even tea, coffee, milk and sugar were provided. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, but in future we will definitely make Blommeweelde our base and stay for longer. Elmarie, the owner, is a very friendly and accommodating person. We will be back.

Welcoming by

As a single person I found the accommodation welcoming and at a very reasonable price. The coffee and rusks were a pleasant surprise, my car had safe parking in its own garage right next to my door and the landlady even got up at 4 a.m. to see me off on my way to the airport!

We so enjoyed our stay in this unknown little gem of The Strand. Very clean and comfortable and Elmarie made us feel so welcome.

Host was most accommodating and understanding-as she waited for us quite late due to flight delay.

Place was very neat, tidy and simple for basic requirements.

Will recommend venue for short trip visits.

We loved the whole place and the owners. We would definitely go back in a second. Owners stayed up late when we had to leave unexpectedly during the late night ours.
