Set in a four-acre tropical garden, with a magnificent Drakensberg escarpment backdrop, Blue Cottages offers delightfully quaint accommodation in six individual cottages (including self catering and family options).

The main house comprises the original farm manager's cottage built in 1948, by Captain Drury, on the pioneering Olifants River Estate.The original lampposts imported especially by Drury from London, can still be seen on the road leading to Blue Cottages.

The main farmhouse is next to Monsoon Gallery & Mad Dogz Café, which is forms part of the Blue Cottages.

The stunning Blyde River Canyon route is nearby, as are opportunities for rafting, hiking and bird watching,hot-air balloon rides and game viewing drives can also be arranged on request. Kruger Park's Phalaborwa and Orpen gates are an hour's drive away.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Crane Cottage. Delicious dinner and breakfast. The hosts and the staff were very friendly and obliging.

Hi julle, baie dankie dit was baie lekker en ons het dit baie geniet. Julle plekkie is baie pragtig en die veblyf is net so mooi soos die area daar. Piet jy moet maar die boek publiseer want jou inligting is puik.Baie dankie julle is baie gasvry en het ons baie tuis lat voel
