Blue Empire

Located on the fantastic Manda Beach, just a few metres from the sea and surrounded by luxurious tropical vegetation, Blue Empire enjoys a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean, the island of Lamu and Shela Village. Built with precious African woods and designed in a refined exotic style, the villa is characterised by traditional Makuti roofs and wide verandahs at the foot of the sea, where one can enjoy beautiful sunsets.

The villa is developed around a patio rich in tropical plants and refreshed by a fountain. The ample living and dining rooms look out onto the verandah and out to sea, while the three spacious bedrooms are fitted with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with a small indoor garden. The unit also offers a kitchen area for self-catering, but guests have the option to have the establishment provide all their meals, if required. Our cooks will prepare delicate international and Swahili dishes comprising home-made bread and sweets, fresh vegetables and tropical fruit from the local market, and freshly caught fish. Rest assured there is always a full complement of staff to attend to your needs.

The villa also offers a local Dhow boat, with a sailor, which will welcome you at the airport and be at your disposal for the duration of your stay, leading you to the discovery of idyllic places. Walk along white sandy beaches, snorkel off the coral reefs of Manda Toto, visit local villages, explore the old streets of Lamu and Shela, or simply relax. There are also many water activities to enjoy, and a wide range of equipment can be hired at Shela Village. If desired, guests can rent the entire villa exclusively, for extra privacy.
