Thesen Island is one of the two islands in the Knysna Lagoon. The Blue Room apartments are situated in the Thesen Harbour Town, noted for their selection of shops and restaurants. Walk down to the water in the evening and dine at Knysna's finest restaurants which are on your doorstep.
The loft apartments have comfortable queen-size beds with cotton percale bedding and feather pillows. The bathrooms have Victorian baths as well as enormous showers which are big enough for two people. Extra mattresses and bedding can be provided for small children. The lounges feature TVs connected to DStv, air-conditioning and balconies to sit in the sun with a good book. The galley kitchens are fully equipped including microwaves and fridges.
There is plenty to see and do in Knysna. Take a walk through the waterfront, or enjoy a boat tour across the lagoon to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Golf enthusiasts can tee off at the Simola Golf Estate - a challenging course with spectacular scenery. Hikers will be pleased by the great trail options along the Garden Route, and mountain bikers can enjoy a tour in the Knysna Forest.
