Bomani Beach Bungalows

Bomani Beach Bungalows is a place for real African experiences, offering Tanzanian and Norwegian hospitality, just 15 km south of Bagamoyo and 50 km north of Dar Es Salaam.

Accommodation is offered Bungalows and the Main House, all rooms have air-conditioning, a private bathroom, and a small terrace overlooking the sea, the garden or the lagoon. On clear days you may even see a glimpse of Zanzibar. Single, double, triple or quadruple rooms are available.

Bomani offers a restaurant and two bars; one bar in the restaurant and one bar on the beach. The restaurant offers an a-la-carte menu with international dishes and specialty sea food, fresh from the beach.

The beach life at Bomani is a special experience; we have decided to share the beach with the fishermen in the village, not to destroy their traditional way of living. This means that you are able to follow their daily work from the beach bed or -chair. The women and the children will also pass by, greeting you if you signalize that you see them. No begging or selling is established here, they only want to show that they appreciate your visit in Mlingotini Village. If you prefer more privacy, the beach bar or even the place in front of you room is also a nice area to enjoy the sun or the cool shade.

The garden at Bomani Beach Bungalows is a combination of what the nature has given us and what we have planted. The coconut trees are the perfect frame for the view, while the fruits are tempting part of it during the seasons. The many flowers and trees are attracting a wide range of butterflies and birds. Calm down, use all your senses and enjoy it. If you are longing for some activities, don't hesitate to play beach volleyball or other games we have put up.
