Boskloof Swemgat is a beautiful small farm in the unspoiled Boskloof Valley, some 10 km from Clanwilliam and at the foothills of the Northern Cedarberg Mountains.

The farm offers eight self-catering cottages, all situated on the banks of the Jan Dissels River with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It is the ideal place for a family getaway or a romantic weekend. Explore the farm roads on foot or mountain bike, fish and swim in the unpolluted river and be awed by the stars in the clear night skies above you.

Make this your base from which to explore the Cedarberg, the coast of Lambert's Bay, Wupperthal, Namaqualand and Clanwilliam, or simply relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the nature around you.

Romantic Weekend Getaway by

Boskloof Swemgat is a beautifully secluded little place with amazing views and a wonderfully peaceful feeling. We really felt at home and everything we needed to cook with, etc was provided. Francois, the host, was friendly and said to just shout if we needed anything else. We also didn't have any problems with creepy crawlies!We will definitely return for another stay! It is the perfect place for a quiet weekend away from the city in order to breathe fresh air, relax and unwind...

Yes, it was a great short vacation and I will certainly go back there for a longer stay. Accommodation and surroundings were excellent and I would recommend Boskloof Swemgat, as an ideal place for ?R & R? - relax and enjoy peace of mind.
