Buccara Wildlife Reserve offers self-catering accommodation in 3 units, the Clifton Manor House, the Clifton Main House, the Willowslopes lodge, and Chalets, just outside Graaff-Reinet in the Karoo. The reserve offers a tranquil atmosphere and is focused on indigenous cultures, wildlife conservation, and ecological awareness.
The Main House is more modern than the Manor House. The house has open living areas that create a tranquil atmosphere and a snooker table dating from 1911. There is a swimming pool with braai facilities. The house has 4 guest rooms that are uniquely decorated. Each room has air-conditioning, a TV with selected DStv channels in the main room only, a seating area, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, and Wi-Fi. Two guest rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The other 2 rooms share a bathroom that has a bath and a shower. There is also a communal kitchen with a dining table, chairs, and comfortable seating areas. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, stove, and microwave.
Meals can be prepared if organized prior to arrival (3 days in advance), should our chef be available.
Breakfast, lunch, and Dinner are available.
Buccara Wildlife Reserve is a 25-30-minute drive from Graaff-Reinet in Middelburgs direction. There is also a fair stretch of gravel to travel on before reaching the reserve, half is tar, the other half gravel.
