We offer private and comfortable hotel-style accommodation with spectacular sunsets, mesmerizing stars and heavenly beds. We have four rooms; one room has a king-size bed, two rooms have queen-size beds and the fourth room has a queen-size bed and a single bed. All of our rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers, as well as bar fridges and TVs.

Great accommodation by

Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. The Kingsize bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. The property is secure and puts Johannesburgers' minds at rest, and there is good covered parking for guest vehicles. Will definitely use this facility again. Have already recommended it to 2 different family members who are traveling through Smithfield this holiday period.

We stayed for one night - the rooms were a nice size. They were decorated tastefully.
The rooms only had a shower and with children this is not ideal.

We stayed on 26 July and it was freezing and despite having an electric blanket the rooms were very very cold.

We ate at the Buckleys restaurant. Food was good.

Martin who runs both was a lovely person.

Family Friendly- Epic Value for money by

We had all intentions of pushing through to Aliwal-North on our trip down from JHB, yet Buckley's popped up on my screen and I was sold on what was on offer. To our delight, what an AMAZING experience, with such friendly people and kind , generous hospitality. The rooms were comfortable, clean and the food from the restaurant was epic!! I highly recommend the T Bone on offer with Johan's secret basting sauce. For an affordable and Free State Friendly experience - definitely ensure if you stopping n Smithfield - book at Buckley's - You can thank me later !!

Warm and welcome stay by

very nice stay over on route to East London, we even stayed there on the return leg. everyone was very friendly and helped where they could. the pub and bar is also very good - would highly recommend it

Good Half Way Stop by

Lovely old building. Clean comfy beds and friendly hosts.

The accommodation was old but comfortable and clean. We could recommend the establishment.
