Bunyonyi Overland Resort is situated on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, in Uganda. This is the ideal base to explore the lake, or a wonderful stopover on your way to the mountain gorillas in the national parks of Rwanda.

Accommodation is provided in comfortable Safari Tents, Rooms and Cottages. We also offer a self-camping option in the spacious garden for those with their own equipment, as well as a comfortable rent-a-mobile tent with or without bedding. All accommodations are sited with splendid views over the lake.

The resort is ecologically built with local materials and is locally owned, providing important employment opportunities for the people around the lake. Lake Bunyonyi has no crocodiles or hippos and due to its altitude, malaria is rather scarce.
