Bushmen is a luxurious open-plan unit with a African bushmen theme, ideal for a family getaway. The thatched unit can sleep up to eight guests comfortably and is located on the Rebellie Game Farm, located 14 km from Clarens, with a dirt-road stretch of 10 km.

The main en-suite bedroom features a double bed and the second bedroom features twin single beds. There is also a loft that has four single beds, making it ideal for the youngsters. The second bedroom and loft share a bathroom, and all bed linen is supplied, except towels. The living area includes a dining area, kitchen, a log fireplace for those cold evenings, a lounge with seating, and a TV. A Jacuzzi is also available for a luxurious dip. The under cover deck features a built-in braai area and boasts fantastic views.

Nestled in the serene mountainous landscape of the majestic Maluti Mountains, Rebellie Game Farm offers the perfect sanctuary away from everyday city life, noise and stress. Boasting one of the top 10 4x4 trails in South Africa according to Drive Out Magazine 2005, Rebellie specializes in catering for the 4x4 enthusiast. The abundance of game and bird life also ensures prime viewing on mountain walks.

Home comforts in a pristine environment by

The Bushmen unit is beautifully finished, well maintained and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay in the beautiful mountains just outside of Clarens, providing the best of both worlds (town and unspoilt mountainside). We felt that our stay at Bushmen was really good value for money and will definitely be back. A special thank you to our host, Nic, who handled an unexpected (very) late arrival most graciously.

Disappointed by

The location is stunning but the venue and management leaves a lot to be desired. The structure is in a good condition and nothing wrong with it, however, we specifically, in no uncertain terms, prior to our visit, requested that the jacuzzi would be fully functional. In fact we requested that more than 3 times prior to our visit. We we assured that all will be in order on our arrival, only to find an ice cold, non functional jacuzzi still being filled when we arrived. The jucazzi pump functioned but the heating was out of order and needles to say, it could not be used unless we were of artic origin!! Although we liased with the owner via sms, after he did not answer his phone, we were informed that nothing could be done to resolve the matter and we must make the most of it!!! Seriously!!!!??? Unaceptable and a waste of good money which could have been spent on a better alternative... No value for money!!
