Bushwa Game Lodge is situated on 1000ha in the beautiful province of Limpopo in the heart of the Waterberg biosphere; the ideal stop over on route to Botswana.

Offering an unique African experience, the lodge is home to a large variety of game including giraffe, eland, kudu, red hartbeest, Buffalo, sable and njala.The lodge offers guests a variety of accommodation, one of which is the 20 sleeper Bush-camp Lodge which has five rooms, two tented chalets and a loft room.

The Tree House offers comfortable accommodation for two while each of the Luxury Safari Style Tents sleep four guests. The Spa Room is ideal for two guests. The rates include breakfast, a light lunch, dinner and two game drives per day. There is a pool area where guests can enjoy a sundowner and we also have a Spa on the premises.

Bushwa Game Lodge - exceeded our expectations by

On our arrival at Bushwa Lodge we were warmly greeted by Deon, Annamarie, and their staff. Annamarie proudly showed us around the lodge that she has lovingly created. She has a marvelous sense of style which exudes in all that she dose, form the delicious cuisine to the well appointed large rooms, where every detail is taken care of. We felt like we had been invited into their home and we very treated like good friends. Bushwa far exceeded our expectations and made for a truly special getaway for my husbands 40th birthday party. I am not one to easily give full marks but at Bushwa I could find no fault. Thank you to Deon and Annamarie. We will certainly have Bushwa as a regular entry into our Calendar.

The food was the best quality and the facilities most enjoyable. Both game rangers had a good knowledge of the bush and we were made to feel right at home throughout. A great getaway not to be missed!

the Buffalos and the night drive by

The Bushcamp is ideal for kids. The 6 children with us were all between 5 and 11 years of age. The safety of the camp allowed them to run and roam around picking up beetles, moths and lizards. They were a joy to watch. They enjoyed the game drives as well and Darryl was most helpful and informative answering all their questions and looking up the answers where he was unsure. The dirt road needs improvement as it is too rough for ordinary vehicles. The kitchen was taken over by squirrels which nibbled at our plastic containers with food. At night the lighting in the rooms should improve to allow reading in bed by taking off the covers of the bedside lamps.
