Bwindi Loge

Bwindi Lodge is an eco-lodge situated on the border of the northern part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The lodge offers accommodation in stylish comfort, with modern and up to date facilities. It is frequented by one of the local tribes of gorillas and is set at the edge of the forest.

The accommodation at the lodge is provided in eight thatched, glass-fronted bedrooms each with their own private balcony. The rooms were completely refurbished in 2011 to ensure up to date comfort and style. They are fitted with luxury beds, locally crafted furniture and have en-suite stone bathrooms. Each bathroom has a double vanity, hot running showers and eco-toilets.

When not relaxing in your private room, spend some time at the main lodge with both open and covered terraces, providing a spectacular view point to the forest. The cosy bar and lounge area is the best place to unwind beside the fireplace and share stories of the days' activities.

Activities are abundant and can be arranged on arrival and highlight include trekking mountain gorillas through the misty jungle of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The forest also offers bird watching and hiking.
