Camp Nkwazi

Camp Nkwazi is also called ?Mopanie Lodge? and it is nestled on the banks of the Upper Zambezi River, within a 25-minute drive from the Victoria Falls and opposite the Zambezi National Park.. Camp Nkwazi offers 10 Luxury, en-suite, self-catering "Tented" Chalets, 13 Luxury Campsites with many returning guest rate as "the best campsites in Africa".

The Luxury En-Suite Tented Chalets are tastefully furnished and equipped with all the necessary utensils to ensure comfort and relaxation. Each chalet can accommodate two adults on 2 x 1070x2000mm memory foam beds and by prior arrangement, two children under the age of 4 years. Power points for hairdryers and 220V shavers are available in the rooms, and they have external power points. You enjoy a lovely view from the wooden deck and the kitchenettes fully equipped for self-catering. Two of the chalets are wheelchair accessible.

Campsites are all lawn covered under shady trees, with electricity, hot water and huge braai/barbeques. There are six underroof sculleries and 6 ablution blocks with 24 washbasins, 24 toilets and 24 showers. All showers have a wet and dry cubicle.
Camp Nkwazi offers a bar, restaurant and a swimming pool for those hot days. Buffet breakfast, light lunches and the scrumptious 4 course dinners must be pre-booked. Guests can savour sightings of a variety of game and rare bird life, as well as some fishing. Guests can enjoy activities such as helicopter or microlight flights, fishing, game viewing, canoeing, makoro or boat trips on the Zambezi River; elephant rides, lion encounters, day trips to Victoria Falls and swimming in the spectacular devil's pool.
