Nestled among tall palm trees, Casa Torta overlooks the beautiful islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique.

Recently completed, this luxury cottage has been decorated to a high standard and more so enjoys 70m of private beach frontage with direct access.

Two guests are well accommodated in one upstairs bedroom equipped with mosquito nets, ceiling fan, an en-suite bathroom with shower and two private balconies.

The large balcony off the front of the property enjoys panoramic beach views, which can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on our beautiful daybeds. While the smaller balcony at the back of the property overlooks a small wetland and provides a wonderful respite from the wind on windy days.

Downstairs, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, an open-plan entertainment area and cloakroom which leads out to your own private swimming pool.

The Cottage is serviced daily and laundry facilities can be provided on request. There is a CD player in the kitchen, loungers by the pool and a charcoal barbeque is also provided.

The property has a safe and on-site security, while secure parking for two cars is provided.

Located on the shores of the Indian Ocean, Vilanculos has become a popular tourist destination and serves as the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago.

Casa Torta by

Very nice house in beautiful and secluded gardens with lovely sea view and easy reach of the beach. The house is extremely comfortable and very well equipped and furnished. You can easily get boat trips to Margaruque Island just across the way. Other places like Casa Rex and Casbah are within easy reach. There is lots of bird life in the garden and Maurice is very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our five days at Casa Torta.

The Casa Torta residence was lovely.
Unfortunately, their was a seedling interrupting the sea view and the beach was laden with seaweed. Although the kitchen was nicely equipped,  the bed linens were slightly stained and the pool was green most of the week.  What really stifles Casa Torta is the owner's insolent and cynical attitude.  Not only did the ground and housekeepers bemoan him, he treated me in a demeaning and patronizing way.
