Accommodation, ranging from Family Rooms to the Executive/Honeymoon Suite, is available. A wide range of sporting facilities offered at the hotel includes daily guided walks, guided horse and pony rides, quad bikes, tennis, squash,swimming, bowls, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, floodlit mini-adventure golf and trout fishing, biking, Wi-Fi Internet. The hotel's immaculate 9-hole golf course has been termed The Thinking Golfer's Course and has alternate tees for a challenging 18-hole game.

A stunning recreational area complete with a heated pool, gym and steam bath, is set against the backdrop of the spectacular Cathedral range. The terraced landscape incorporates rocks and flora indigenous to the Cathedral Peak area and the pool bar and braai boma offer spectacular views of the valley and golf course ? a popular setting for early evening sundowners.

For an unforgettable experience, guests have the unique opportunity of lifting off in the hotel's resident helicopter to obtain a bird's eye view of the majestic mountains. In the evenings, guests spend time with friends and family in Albert's Cocktail Bar around a roaring log fire, or in the informal Harry's Bar for a game of pool or darts.

Children are allowed in the adults dining room between 18:30 - 20:00. The evening dress code in the dining room is smart-casual (no shorts or open shoes after 18.30pm). Children are welcome to join their parents in Alberts Cocktail Bar at any time, however children cannot be seated at the bar counter due to liquor law stipulations. Children are also welcome in the main hotel lounge where they can relax with their parents.

Rates are per person daily and inclusive of all meals, mid morning and afternoon tea. Airport transfers can also be arranged through third party contractors.

Staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly Food was excellent and the variety endless Accommodation was clean, comfortable and very pleasant. May I offer the following suggestions: 1. Small fridges in rooms 2. More evening entertainment 3. 4 people in accommodation, only one key between us, another key would have been helpful. 4. No nearby facilities for washing, sterilising and heating bottles for baby Otherwise it was a wonderful holiday.

Thank you very much for a marvellous wonderful stay at your hotel. The accommodation and of course the views and the mountain was spectacular.

We've made beautiful unforgettable memories.

Just a small observation on your directions to get to the hotel. The train tracks you mention are virtually invisible( the tracks are actually covered by tar) and in fact are part of the left turn opposite the Engen service station. Quite misleading and they are so easily missed. I suggest you leave the ?train tracks? out completely and or just say ?after crossing the river, about 800m, turn to your right at the Cathedral Peak sign?.

We will certainly tell all our friends of THE magnificent Cathedral Peak Hotel.
