On the outskirts of Greater Johannesburg, approximately 30 minutes from the old city centre and on the Klein Jukskei River, stands the prominent four-storied Chartwell Castle and Guest House.

The guest house has five rooms, with traditional country décor, which all feature en-suite bathrooms, DStv, Wi-Fi Internet access and two rooms have balconies. The castle also offers guests a large garden with a swimming pool, a maze, an indoor fireplace, braai facilities and parking on the premises. Breakfast is served between 09:00am to 10:00am.

The castle is located in tranquil Chartwell West, yet close to the main roads, the Four-Ways Mall, the Broadacres Garden Centre, Cedar Square, Monte Casino, The Lion Park, Lanseria Airport and the brand new Four-Ways Hospital.

Overnight stay by

We stayed at the Castle during the night of the 4th and the 5th of April, and loved it. Just too short!

Wonderful escape by

We went to the castle for a night, to escape the rat race without needing to drive too far. It was lovely! Tamara was very welcoming and dinner was delicious, as was breakfast! We were 15 minutes from home, but felt like we were in another world!We hope to be back!

Beautiful premesis, cosy rooms, wonderful accommodating staff.

Chartwell Castle by

Nice atmosphere, reminds you of a castle. Enjoyed our stay, and would go back again. Breakfast was expensive for what we had and could do to be improved or the cost reduced.
