KWALAPE SAFARI LOGE RECENSIES (63 %) Chobe Safari Camp by Vernon Royappen, South Africa 12 January 2011 This has got to be the worst I have had. I did not book to stay in a construction site, the place was not ready with construction still taking place. No one informed me that this was the case even though booked this in advance. The camp site was not ready and i was offered a chalet, however my holiday was based on camping and this was the experience my kids wanted to have and i spent alot of money on camping equipment. It is not the case that i cannot afford to book a chalet. There was no one else staying in the establishment. The resturant was not ready and all we heard the whole day was banging and wood cutting. Definitely a terrible eperience Chobe Safari Camp by Ina Slot, South Africa 12 January 2011 We did not stay at the camp as it is not completed and is unfenced and has no security. The site were full of building material and building rubble. The entrance to the camp were not properly designated and there is no direct entrance to the camp. We had to find other accommodation at additional cost because the camp site was not ready to receive campers yet. Comfortable and secure by Catherine Page 15 September 2017 Pleasant friendly greeting, helpful staff with good local knowledge. Clean and tidy. Spacious campsites Shady campsite, awesome pool by Amanda Nurcombe-thorne 12 January 2018 It was too noisy and crowded over new year period. We go camping to get away from the noise and everyone around us was playing loud music all the time and making a noise till the early hours for all three days we were there. This needs to be controlled better. The New years eve party organised by Kwalape was fun and was done by a reasonable hour. We were also disappointed that the river cruise was overbooked and we had to drive ourselves to the river which is not what we paid for and we were also not reimbursed for this - it detracted greatly from the experience. The staff, restaurant and pool are awesome. We have camped many times before and loved it but this time was too crowded and noisy. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade - especially the showers. There is no place to put your things on so they end up getting wet on the floor as there is no shower curtain either. Trip to Vic falls by Albertus De Wet 05 June 2018 Love the spacious room and shower. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Friendly reception and staff generally all over establishment by James Smythe 12 July 2018 Liked the the natural environment all over, good food, and cleanliness in general. I will not recommend the camping tents, instead the rooms or cottages are much more comfortable. Therefore I rate the tent accommodation 3 for comfort Elephants at gate by Elrine Thomson 18 July 2018 Too close to the road. Can hear the traffic. No hot water in showers. No water close to camp to wash dishes and no hot water at dish wash point to wash dishes Chobe visit by Connie Jacobs 18 August 2018 Clean, good equipped rooms for an overnight sleepover. No view from rooms and not for self-catering. Staff friendly and helpful Nothing spectacular by Nico Jooste 03 September 2018 They should advise travellers that the central parking is far from your chalet and from reception it is uphill walking to the chalets. The rooms are neat but balcony dirty. The food is very average and not worth the price and staff should be taught how to uncork a bottle of wine . The receptionnist was very helpful and friendly, but need the support of a "bell boy" to take luggage to the chalet.
Not the ideal stopover. Amazing Wildlife! by John Mitchell 26 September 2018 Our room was pleasant. The bed was comfortable but the pillows hard. Good Aircon and TV channels OK. Small patio but unable to use unless after sunset as the sun shone directly on to it. Food good but not particularly exciting. Braai evening with traditional dancers. Morning Game drive was excellent. Afternoon sunset cruise was disappointing as boat was quite small - the on board "bar" was a cool box with only water! The larger two deck boats are much better organized. KWALAPE SAFARI LOGE LOCATIE
