Coastlands Musgrave Hotel en Convention Centre

With beautiful views of Durban, distant views of the Indian Ocean and Durban Harbour this modern, 4 star hotel boasting 101 bedrooms is situated on the ridge of Musgrave's popular Ridge road. Our Deluxe Rooms offer magnificent garden, partial city, sea and harbour views from their private balconies, while our Standard Rooms are situated at the back of the hotel with access to a communal verandah that offers inland views of the immediate surroundings.

Our sophisticated bedrooms are equipped with twin or king sized beds, flat screen televisions, laptop safes and individually controlled air-conditioning. Tea and coffee making facilities and top quality amenities will ensure you have a comfortable stay. Wi-fi is also provided.

A large variety of breakfast dishes are available in 315 Restaurant which is situated on the ground floor and our hotel offers a comfortable lounge where you can relax and start your day with a delicious, freshly brewed cappuccino. The restaurant is open to the public with lunch and dinner options available.

PLEASE NOTE: Should your reservation be on a ROOM ONLY basis, you are welcome to book for our buffet breakfast upon arrival at R180 per person while our bed and breakfast rate includes buffet breakfast.

We are pleased to inform you that we are now offering a buffet dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings and should you be staying at our hotel on either Friday or Saturday night, we will be delighted to host you for dinner at R330 per person (optional extra, not included in your reservation). Kindly enquire at reception upon arrival to make your booking. Alternatively, we have a brand new A-la-Carte menu with a variety of delicious dishes available.

The Atrium shopping centre is a mere 10 minutes walk from the hotel which offers a huge variety of fashion, electronic, banks and retail stores. For those who want to start or end their day with fitness training, Virgin Active is located in the centre. Durban International Convention Centre and the iconic Moses Mabhida stadium is 5.5kilometers from the hotel and the location of the hotel offers easy access to the N3 highway that leads to Durban and Pietermaritzburg.

Safe and secure undercover and open-air parking is available on our premises. PLEASE NOTE: We are currently upgrading and expanding our parking facility and as a result of this construction work is being done. Our pool is also not accessible during this time and we apologize for any inconvenience as a result of this while we make our facility better for your next visit.
