CRISOVIK GASTENHUIS RECENSIES (40 %) Stay at Crisovik by Vivian Masondo, South Africa 07 January 2014 Good place which can improve if resources can be put into the establishment. crisovik by Freeman Risinamhodzi, South Africa 09 June 2014 We were very disappointed to find that we were not allocated the double room as was agreed upon when we were booking. Our booking said double & twin rooms but when we got there, there was somebody else booked into the double room & we only had the twin rooms, also meaning we had to share with strangers in a foreign country!
We intend to visit Swaziland again but we shall Never book at Crisovik again or even recommend it to anyone.Establishment's Response: He had booked one twins and doubles room, a booking that was unclear to start with. Did he want a room with double and single beds in it or one room with a double bed and another with twin beds?
Seeing however that his party comprised 4 people Crisovik Guest House provided him two separate rooms.
Mr Freeman is therefore being economical with the truth when he says he and his party were forced to share with strangers in a foreign country. The third party in the house where Mr Freeman and his party were booked was in an En-Suite room which shares no facilities whatsoever with any other guest except the lounge. Rather, contrary to his booking Mr Freeman insisted on being given the En-Suite room in addition to the rooms he had been allocated. That meant he and his party wanted the whole house to themselves.
When told that this would cost him an extra amount and that he could be given an En-Suite room in another house, since it would be unprocedural to remove the guest already in the En-Suite, he refused the offer, insisting he that wouldn't pay any extra money and that he didn't want members of his party to be separated either.
In as much as operators in the hospitality industry have a duty to make visitors/guests as welcome and comfortable as possible guests should also reciprocate the gesture by not arriving at their accommodation resort in questionable states of sobriety and making unreasonable demands on front office personnel.
It's as simple as treating each other with understanding, respect and dignity! Emmse Burger, South Africa 29 November 2014 I booked and paid a deposit more than a week in advance for a double en-suite room. One day before our arrival I was sent this message "I write to inform you and to apologise for a mix up in our room reservations.
We had booked some guests into our En-Suite rooms over the past week in the hope that they would depart before your arrival. Unfortunately, none of them is ready to leave until the week end.
Under the circumstances we are left with only one Singles room and I'm wondering if you will accept it with a reduction in price between an En-Suite and a Singles room.
Alternatively, if it would not inconvenience you, I suggest you delay your arrival till the week end when an En-Suite room would be available.
We hope we can count on your understanding and co-operation in this turn of events.
Kindly accept our most sincere apologies again.
Best regards."
There was no way we could wait until the weekend for them to clear the room for us. We had to accept the offer as we had already paid the deposit of half the total sum and did not want to go driving up and down streets looking for a place to stay in a country we are not familiar with. That is the reason I use safarinow to be sure of the booking. We slept in the single room with shared bathroom which was not great for us but at least it was clean. Also nice and close to the mall. I am sure I would have had only good things to say about the guest house if our booking had stayed the way we made it. Very unfortunate event. CRISOVIK GASTENHUIS LOCATIE
