Cypherkuil Karoo Cottage is on a Karoo sheep and game farm in the Northern Cape located only 45 km from Strydenburg and 80 km from Britstown. The farm is half way between Cape Town and Johannesburg, on the N12 via Kimberley. It is the ideal overnight place where guests can relax and enjoy the silence of the Karoo. This self-catering cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed, while the second and third bedrooms each have 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath and a shower. There is also an outdoor shower. The cottage is rented as a unit for guests. The living area is equipped with a TV , cozy fireplace for the cold winter and air-conditioning and there is a big stoep with a built-in braai that can be sheltered. Guests can enjoy a delicious "Karoo choppie" on the coals. The "stoep" has a beautiful view where guests can enjoy Karoo sunsets, the tranquility and the smell of the Karoo. The fully equipped kitchen has a stove, microwave oven, and refrigerator. Coffee, tea, milk, sugar and homemade biscuits are provided. Linen, towels and soap are provided. Fresh bread, roosterkoeke and braai packages are available on request. There is also secure parking space. Guests are also welcome to go hiking or mountain biking.
